FOWL Blossoms for Books Garden Tour

Friends of the Waccamaw Library presents the Blossoms for Books Garden Tour -- a fundraiser for the Waccamaw Neck Branch Library.  Delight in the beauty of local residential gardens and enjoy Pop-up Shops at the Library.

Jeremiah's Lunch Box food truck will be selling lunch items at the Blue Whale Farm from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Tickets: 

General Admission $40

FOWL / FOGL Members $35 in Advance

Tickets are non-refundable.*

You will be emailed a receipt for your tour ticket(s).

On the day of the tour, bring your receipt to the Waccamaw Neck Branch Library between 9:45 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to receive your wrist band(s) and tour brochure with maps.

If you purchase multiple tickets, please add the names of your guests in this form. See "Click here to add guests" on the green bar below the ticket purchase quantity section.  Names are needed for check in at the Library and entry at gated communities.

Carpooling is strongly encouraged. There will be a $50 Bistro 217 gift card raffle for occupants of cars with three or more people.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Ticket purchases are not refundable.  If the tour is rained out, your purchase will become a fully tax-deductible donation to Friends of the Waccamaw Library.  Friends of the Waccamaw Library is recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS. Tax Identification Number: #57-0855359
  • Children under 10 and strollers are not permitted on the tour.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FOWL GARDEN TOUR TICKET HOLDERS

  • Ticket purchasers must list the names of all persons for whom tickets are being purchased to facilitate entry to gated communities.
  • Begin the tour by picking up your wristband and map at the Waccamaw Neck Library from 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Wristbands will be given at check-in and required for all garden sites.
  • No strollers or children under ten years of age are permitted.
  • Carpooling is encouraged. Parking is limited at some homes. In cars with three or more people, each person will be entered in a raffle for a $50 gift card to Bistro 217. BE SURE to get your raffle ticket as you leave the library parking lots and keep your stub.
  • Do NOT rely on GPS for directions. Please follow the map on the brochure that you will receive at check-in.
  • Prince Creek Plantation
    • Enter at the 707 entrance
    • When leaving, the back gate will be available.
  • Do not block driveways or mailboxes at any location. 
  • There may be moderate walking and uneven ground at gardens.
  • No designated handicapped parking is available at the gardens.
  • Public restrooms at the library will be available throughout the tour.  Restrooms are NOT available at any of the gardens.
  • Blue Whale Farm will open at 11 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. on May 17.  Parking is across the street at Precious Blood of Christ Church.
  • Jeremiah’s Lunch Box food truck will be available at Blue Whale Farm on Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Raffle ticket winner, rain information and other information will appear on our website thefowl.org and our Facebook page “Friends of the Waccamaw Library.”
  • Communities on tour:  Prince Creek, Collins Creek, North Litchfield, and DeBordieu Colony
